Rainier Cherries
Organic & Conventional
Delicious, delicate and delightful describes this very attractive, exceptionally large, yellow cherry with a bright red blush. Their intense sweetness is the trademark of the Rainier cherry with sugar levels ranging from 20%-25%. Without a doubt, the greatest thing about the Rainier cherry is the taste. Delicately flavored with extraordinary sugar levels, the flesh is pure yellow, very firm and finely textured.
When selecting Rainier cherries look for healthy green stems, golden yellow color with a red blush. If you find a small degree of light brown spotting on the skin, it actually indicates an extra-sweet spot. To guarantee a great eating experience, treat them as growers do – with extra special care to avoid bruising, and be sure to keep your Rainier cherries refrigerated!
Red Cherries
Organic & Conventional
There are many varieties of red cherries, the most common being the Bing. Other varieties have been developed to increase the length of the season by being earlier or later than Bings. Some of the newer varieties are larger in size as well.
Bursting with sweetness and rich flavor, the large Red cherry is firm, juicy with a deep mahogany red color. The Red cherry is of the finest quality, with an intensely sweet (17-20%) fruit sugar, and vibrant flavor.
Skylar Rae® Cherries
Conventional
Discovering a unique cherry by chance on a farm is a rare natural event, but that’s just what happened back in 2004 for the Toftness family of Wenatchee, WA and Tip Top Orchards.
Its parentage is still unknown today, but we do know Skylar Rae® cherries are genetically different from Rainier and other sweet cherry varieties.
Strawberry Cherries
Conventional
A vibrant ruby-red cherry with a subtle strawberry sweetness. A very berry cherry.™
Rosy bright red skin with light freckles all over, resembling the skin of a strawberry. These cherries not only look like sweet little strawberries, but their flavor is unique with delicate strawberry undertones. Grown by family orchardists in the Yakima Valley.
